Lodging

Housing is a very important part of a student's stay in a foreign country. The options we offer are: Spanish families, shared apartments and indiviudal apartments.Usually, the students are housed in the city center at a maximum walking distance of 15-20 min. from the school. For those students that live with Spanish families, we advise that they spend as much time as possible with them. In this way the student will feel like part of the family and they will adapt to family life better. Those students that have special diets (vegetarians, etc) ought to contact the secretary to obtain the special prices for this type of diet. The prices for shared and individual apartments include utilities (both electricity 6 water) and local taxes. Gas is an additional charge, but it usually will not cost more than 8 to 9 euros per month. The apartmenst usally include verytghing you need to cook, washing machine, television and bed linen. We do recommend, though, that students bring their own towels and bed linen.
All students living in apartments will have to pay a 150.00 € deposit which will be refunded at the end of their stay (provided the apartment is in satisfactory condition) Students should leave their apartments in the same state in which they found them.
The secretary will send (by email or postal letter) the addresses of the housing assignament at least 3 weeks prior to the begining of the student's course. Students should communicate (byemail, fax, letter) their arrival date to the secretary at leats 3 weeks in advance so that we can have everything organized and be waiting for them upon arrival to Ronda.
Students should not expect to have the same facilities that they have at home, they should try to adapt to a new culture and a different way of living.
